EMINE -- Email Data Mining
Emine parses an email file, separates all the various elements, including words and phrases, and populates a database. The database doesn't contain the actual email information. It contains file offsets that point into the original parsed email file. SQL searches can be performed on all header elements(To: From: Date: etc) words, phrases, and attachments. The information retrieved can be used by a search client application to extract the elements directly from the email file.
